Dirty face

ある朝私は夫に彼女の朝ごはんを頼み、手続きに出かけた。

One morning I asked my husband for her breakfast and went through the procedure.

途中で夫は彼女にご飯を食べさせている写真をメールしてくれて午後には再会したが、彼女の顔は目ヤニと食べ物で汚れていた。面倒を見ていたなら顔をみるし気づいたら拭くと思うんだけど。

Along the way, her husband emailed her a picture of her feeding and reunited in the afternoon, but her face was dirty with eyes and food. If I was taking care of her, I would look at her face and wipe  if I noticed.

彼女が家にいるならまだセーフだけどそうではなかったので彼にはエチケットを心得てほしい。

It's still safe if she's at home, but it wasn't, so I want him to know etiquette.
